Trekking Duration : Approximate 2 hours ascending and 2 hours descending.

Transportation : By van (provided)
Food : Not included. Participants are advised to bring own food for breakfast and lunch meal, cutlery, snacks, torch, trekking poles.

Time : 7:30am
Difficulty Level : Medium Light
Trekking Duration : Approximate 4 hours trekking time (to and fro)
Meeting Point : Lafuma Bangsar
Fee : RM5.00 (LMAG member)
RM10.00 (non-LMAG member)
Transportation : By car pooling
Food : Not included. Participant are advise to bring own food for breakfast and lunch.
Things to bring : Day pack, trekking attire, extra clothes to change, towel, rain jacket, poncho, trekking shoes, gaiter, water enough for a day (at least 1.5L), breakfast and lunch meal, cutlery, snacks, torch.

The troops of the trip, photo taken by Muzammil As usual, the trip starts off at Lafuma boutique, Bangsar. While waiting for other team members to arrive, some of us took our breakfast at Mamak Restaurant nearby. The weather was perfect with clear blue sky. Most of us in a relax mood and seems to be not in a rush. At about 8:00 am we left Bangsar and head down to Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) by Pregio Van and Pajero. We set to meet at KKB town. KKB was a small and old town, the town without traffic light. We can easily bump to each other there without sweat. Shop Online It was 9 am when we arrive at KKB. Exploratory Trail at Kota Damansara Community Forest

On 14 September 2008 a group of 14 people from LMAG have set to explore forest nearby our KL city namely Kota Damansara Community Forest. It is one of the few green lung left within the city vicinity apart from Bukit Gasing in PJ, Taman Tun Dr Ismail & Mont Kiara Forest Reserve, FRIM in Kepong, Bukit Tabur in Taman Melawati and Bukit Apeh in Cheras. The Kota Damansara Community Forest is rich with biodiversity of flora and fauna just like Bukit Gasing in PJ. The forest area was huge and one can hike from Kota Damansara to Bukit Lanjang as well as to Sungai Buloh R&R at Plus NSE Highway area. All of us set to meet at the starting point at 7.45am instead of the usual place at our Lafuma Bangsar outlet. The guide for the trip was none other than Apip and Ng being the sweeper for the day.
