Earth Hour 2008
In conjunction with Earth Hour 2008, Lafuma Bangsar is going black to green the world and yes, we are going to turn all our lights off from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on 29 March 2008 (Saturday). During Earth Hour 2007, the greenhouse reduction achieved in Sydney for this campaign would be equivalent to taking 48,616 cars off the road for a year. We are trying our best to make this happen here in Malaysia.
This was small part of our sustainable development effort other than development of our Lafuma PURE Leaf Collection. Lafuma has been involved in sustainable development for the past 15 years. A lot of our PURE Leaf Collection carries the WWF label and 10% of the sale proceeding goes to the foundation.
