LMAG trips for September 2008

In September, Lafuma will be visiting area within the KL city vicinity. It is our neighbourhood at Kota Damansara and Batu Caves. Instead of visiting waterfalls, we have planned to bring you to experience caving. These will be the hiking and caving location that we will set our foot at in September:

Kota Damansara Green Forest Hike,
Kota Damansara, PJ

Date : 14 September 2008 (Sunday)
Time : 7.30am - 11.00 am
Highlights : Jungle Trekking
Difficulty : Easy
Meet Up Point : Lafuma Bangsar OR SMK Seksyen 10 Kota Damansara
Fees : RM FOC (for LMAG members)
RM2 (for non LMAG members)
Transportation : Car-pooling
Things to bring : Daypack, trekking attire, rain jacket, poncho, trekking shoes, water, snacks.

08:00 Briefing & registration & Ice-breaking session
08:15 Basic tent demo session
08:45 Start trekking
10:00 Finish and arrive at the trekking starting point
10:30 Rest & relax & dismiss

Merdeka Hike to Sg. Perdik Waterfall

Our August hike to Bukit Apeh Waterfall in Cheras which scheduled earlier on 30th August 2008 has been canceled due to closure of the park by the authority recently. As such, to replace the hike, we have changed the venue to Sungai Perdik Waterfall at Hulu Langat, Selangor. Below are the new venue in replace of Bukit Apeh Waterfall. This is how the Sg.
